Musser Symphonic Chimes have all the same features as Classic Chimes but with 1.5" tubes for even greater volume and projection. Symphonic chimes offer outstanding performance and attractive contemporary features. Twenty carefully crafted 1.5" seamless brass chime tubes are polished for a bright broad sound, or chrome plated for a darker, mellower sound. Each tube is individually suspended by its own stainless steel cable, and fitted with a hardened cap to produce exceptional volume. Frames are finished in a complimenting silver or gold powder coat finish for durability, and have four locking wheels. A damper with wool felt pads can be locked open or pedal operated for precise articulation. Each instrument is supplied with a rawhide chime hammer and mallet holder. Standard tuning is A=442. |
